January 2012 - CHF Spotlight

Dear Reader,

Happy new year!!

In recent weeks we signed up a Green Swan Capital Corporation (TSXV: GSW) so watch for that company in a future issue.

One thing we can be sure of for 2012 is there will be volatility in the markets.

Today we highlight four mineral resource companies covering the range from exploration stage to junior producer offering gold, gold-copper, silver, copper-nickel and more.

Arian Silver Corporation (TSXV: AGQ; AIM: AGQ, FSE: I3A) has been able to fund the lion’s share of exploration on the San Jose property in Zacatecas Mexico largely through small-scale production which began in October 2010. The San Jose Vein itself has been drilled for along about 10 km of its 12 km total strike length on the property.

Goldex Resources Corp. (TSXV: GDX) has high-grade gold projects in Guatemala, and anticipates receipt of an exploitation license in Q2 this year to enable first production.

Josephine Mining Corp. (TSXV: JMC) is working to fast-track its plan to build a 1,200 ton per day underground mine at the Turner project in southwest Oregon for gold, copper, zinc, silver and potentially cobalt concentrate production.

Wildcat Exploration Ltd. (TSXV: WEL) has made a new discovery of native gold in the smokey-grey quartz vein mineralization on its Burntwood property located in the Thompson Nickel Belt in Manitoba. This is only the most recent development across its portfolio of Canadian precious and base metal projects.
